Admin

Sees the menu to the right of the Glenhaven logo (Home) that is not visible to Members. Admin menus allow creation, edit and delete of data. Managing Events and sending invites to events is a key task of admins. They enter events and design and send emails that will notify members of an event and need to RSVP.

Member

Residents who have opted in to this community website. They have access to all the menu items on the row under the Glenhaven logo but do not see the admin menu to the right of Glenhaven. Members generally do not see the Edit or Delete buttons on pages they can view like the admins do. They can see most everything unless it is filtered by group membership.

Adding Admins and Group Admins

At his time, Rick Young sets a member that is a facilitator of a group as an admin. The admin designation is a security role in the site security system. On the site the term admin, facilitator, leader and similar are used interchangeably. Any member that is leading or facilitating a group should contact Rick to get the admin training.
