Add an Icon to Your Phone's Home Screen

With an icon on your home screen, you're one tap away from the site — no typing the URL each time.

These instructions are general. If your phone behaves differently, check the instructions for your specific model.

  1. Log in to the website at www.glenhavenws.org.
  2. Make sure you're on the home page by tapping Glenhaven in the top left.
  3. On the top right of the browser, tap the 3 vertical dots menu.
  4. From the menu, tap Add to home screen.
  5. A Create Shortcut window appears — you can edit the subtitle. It should show a cursive G in gold on a navy blue background, with subtitle Glenhaven. Tap Add to home screen.
  6. The icon is added to an available spot on your home screen. You can re-position it if you like.
  1. Log in to the website at www.glenhavenws.org using Safari.
  2. Make sure you're on the home page by tapping Glenhaven in the top left.
  3. Tap the Share button (a square with an upward arrow, typically at the bottom or top of the screen).
  4. Scroll down in the Share menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
  5. You'll see a preview of the icon and the website's name. Edit the name if desired.
  6. Tap Add in the top-right corner. The icon is placed on your home screen.
